This position will collaborate to lead our team and influence culture to exceed guest expectations and enhance the Team Member experience, by "Winning Hearts Every Day", through the Human Resources platform. This position includes, but is not limited to:

Talent Acquisition

  • Recruit, interview, hire and onboard new Team Members who will enhance our team through Chick-fil-A Hospitality and excellent service.
  • Coordinate, with Office Specialist, to lead weekly new hire orientations, and ensure personnel files are complete.
    Training
    • Collaborate with Director of Talent to ensure Team Member training plans are built to successfully develop skill proficiencies in restaurant standards and expectations and behaviors which exhibit Chick-fil-A Hospitality and excellent guest experience.
    • Initiate and coordinate training for new Team Members
    • Collaborate with Team Leads to ensure Team Members demonstrate skill proficiency and model expected Chick-fil-A behaviors before training is completed.
      Retention
      • Communicate quickly and efficiently with Team Member requests and needs (i.e.
      • Monitor and Coordinate Team Member anniversary celebrations
      • Coordinate Team Member semi-annual recognition events (summer and Christmas) assisting with health insurance inquiries, uniform request, relationships with staff, direct deposit, etc.)
        Administration
        ---Collaborate with outside agencies to prepare and present all restaurant renewals
        ---Coordinate annual Open Enrollment.
        ---Consistently update Team Member Handbook to ensure alignment with mandatory policies and restaurant procedural revisions

        Provide backup Payroll support, to Office Specialist, including time punch edit and audit functions.

        Compliance
        ---Ensure timely completion and submission of all compliance reporting
        ---Monitor, coordinate and ensure compliance with illness and injury requirements including COVID.
        ---Coordinate, with Office Specialist, to ensure Team Member compliance documents are up to date including Food Handler card, Sexual Harassment Prevention training, Student Work Permits and I-9s.
        ---Ensure all Team Members receive all required reporting including W-2s and correspondence including COBRA options as required.

        Qualifications
        • Bachelor's Degree and Human Resources experience preferred
        • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
        • Hard-working, self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who will take ownership
          • Provides excellent customer service and enjoys supporting a team in a fast-paced environment
          • Effectively coach and give feedback with enthusiasm and energy
          • Positively impact the people and culture with high integrity and purpose
            • Available to work Friday and Saturday and a minimum of 2 evenings until 10 pm
              • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
