Job Description:
Human Resources Generalist
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for updating and
applying HR polices and company guidelines and making sure everyone
adheres to standards and laws. Reports to the V.P. of Human
Resources.Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pmCompensation: DOE
Can range between $54,000 - $70,000ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The

essential functions.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates degree
(A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or
three (3) years experienced in a related or similar fast-pasted
environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision; Must be an excellent
communicator forward thinker. Knowledge in service work (hourly
billing) practices acquired through college level courses and/or
equivalent work experience. Knowledge of federal, state, and local
labor laws and regulations. Security environment a plus. Proficient
in PC and iOS software including word processing, data analysis,
presentation, email, calendaring programs, and HRM software. Must
be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm
with the ability to deliver high level of customer service. Must be
able to maintain confidentiality of processes, clients and security
issues Pass background check, Pass drug screen, Demonstrate a high
degree of integrity and trust. Excellent attention to detail
needed.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to respond to common inquiries or
complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the
business community. Possess effective oral and written
communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills. Must be
able to interact with all levels of Management.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts as needed to perform
compensation related processes.COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient or above
knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Excel and other
Microsoft office software - WinTeam and relational database work a
plus.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and
deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only
limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule
form.ADDITIONAL SKILLS and/or ABILITIES: Accuracy is required in
performing all functions for this position. Must demonstrate
judgment, tact, and diplomacy as well as the ability to handle
confidential information. Ability to work in a team
environment.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands are usual and
customary for office work.WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment is
usual and customary for office work. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate.
