Job Description:

The HR coordinator will mainly support international transferees and expatriation assignees on their global mobility cases, including all matters related to services of relocation, immigration and more. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player with demonstrated abilities to manage challenges, deal with changing priorities, and maintain professional discretion with sensitive and highly confidential information. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have proven skills in building effective working relationships and the ability to interact with the management teams as well as employees in the organization and with third party vendors.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates HR activities from expatriation to repatriation for employees on international assignments; keep monitoring the employees' needs for support throughout the assignment period
  • Keep expatriation case tracker up to date and provide intuitive case data per request
  • Host orientation meetings and provide supports regarding pre-relocation preparation, settle-in arrangements, and payment submission
  • Cooperate with immigration attorneys and managers on visa sponsorship for expatriation assignees and international transferees
  • Co-work with MediaTek HQ HR team, local admin team, and third party venders on logistic arrangements for relocation shipment, flight tickets, temporary lodging, rental car, corporate housing, and etc.
  • Partner with payroll and finance team on fringe benefit tax repayment
  • Administrate relocation, living assistance, and immigration payments
  • Assist in immigration documentations for PAF, certified LCA, PERM retention, and etc.
  • Provide invitation letter and local support to business travelers from other global sites to the US
  • Administrate I-9 Re-verification
  • Assist and support HR staffing team or cross function teams for special assignments or new projects as needed.   • The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player with demonstrated abilities to manage challenges, deal with changing priorities, and maintain professional discretion with sensitive and highly confidential information. Additionally, the idea candidate must have proven skills in building effective working relationships and the ability to interact with the management teams as well as employees in the organization and with third party vendors
    Requirement
    • Bachelor or above degree in business administration, human resources, business management or related field
    • Excellent communication (oral and written), problem solving and teamwork skills.
    • Detail-oriented and self-directed
    • Strong sense of urgency and ownership
    • Professional work experience in Global Mobility and immigration is a plus
    • Experience in a fast paced high tech industry environment in the US is a plus
