Our client is seeking experienced, talented and driven individuals who have a keen eye for product lines, who are well versed in customer service and sourcing for clients, as well as, sales and merchandise leads.If you are someone who has always had an interest in historical, one of a kind objects and has an aptitude for math and finance this may be the position for you! Our client is looking to fill for multiple locations including: San Francisco, San Mateo, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Vallejo and Oakland.If you are interested, please apply directly to this posting or email your resume to 1421@kellyservices.com for immediate review!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Devote himself/herself to ensuring satisfaction to customers. - Attend company meetings as required and stay up to date with company communications- Know and understand the Federal, State and local requirements which govern the company-s business. - Uphold the company-s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements. - Take personal responsibility for checking work schedules and reporting to the proper store. - Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as may be required. COMPETENCIES: Revenue Generation:- Helps achieve store sales, loan portfolio and profit goals through the achievement of individual goals as defined by management. - Handles merchandise returns and customer concerns/problems/complaints in a positive and expedient manner. Team Working Relations: - Takes initiative to fulfill customer and store priorities and needs. - Promotes and demonstrates a positive team spirit through professional communication and cooperation with fellow employees.- Professionally communicates and receives suggestions objectively and constructively.- Maintains sales floor and loan counter coverage as assigned while adjusting to assist customers. Only after serving customers, fulfills other task responsibilities. Lending & Product Knowledge: - Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of lending guidelines and products. - Seeks out and maintains awareness of new product development, market trends and pricing changes. - Properly assess current market values and quotes proper loan values to customers. - Quote collateral amounts with a genuine concern for customer needs and wants. - Test product for genuineness and functionality. Storage & Merchandising: - Assists the store team in maintaining the store-s visual objectives and housekeeping standards.- Ensures storage areas are organized to ensure property is not damaged and loans can be found quickly and safely. Loss Prevention, Inventory Control, Compliance & Improvement: - Practices awareness of and compliance with all loss prevention and safety procedures. - Maintain 100% accuracy daily, in tagging, re-tagging, location and storage of collateral merchandise. - Ensure proper handling of all merchandise to eliminate the chance of damage. - Consistently improve shrinkage rates by not exceeding monthly loss numbers, over lending or accepting merchandise that will be difficult to sell. - Properly handle defaulted merchandise and implement pack out procedures. - Ensure proper cash handling procedures. - Maintain all business records in a professional and organized manner. Operations: - Maximize profits by proper loan assessment and valuation, minimizing product discounts, maximizing product sales profitability and overall merchandise activity. - Assisting in the evaluation and maintenance of outstanding layaway receivables. - Complete all business records and reports in an accurate and timely fashion. RequirementsHigh school diploma or the equivalent. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Communicates clear, concise information to management. Listens carefully and responds accordingly. Knowledgeable and friendly to customers and Company staff. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic addition and subtraction. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume; ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
