Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract - Number of Beds -350 - Number of Staff – 4 - Type of staff: - Day Shift – 4 - Night Shift - 0 - Type of equipment - Bruker Maldi, Microscan, Hardy media Plates, Resin Water Supply, CO2, microscopes, incubators, Centrifuge, Microbiology Rapid tess, Biofire, Cepheid, Blood Culture incubator, Gram Stain with Previ - EMR - Meditech - Typical Procedures: Plating, ID of micro-organisms. Susceptablity testing, Gram Stains Must Haves: - A recent 12 months of Clinical Microbiology Lab experience in an acute hospital setting - CA Clinical Microbiologist or CA CLS License - Some experience as a generalist in a clinical lab Preferred or Nice to Have: - 2 Years Experience - MediTech Experience - Travel Experience
