qualified Cath Lab RN in San Jose, California, 95124! Pay
Information $2,646 per week About The Position Job Title: Cardiac
Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac
Catheterization Laboratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift
Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Current RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: -
ACLS - BLS - NIH Certification - Current RN license Description:
Unit consists of 4 Cath Lab rooms. There are 20 RNs on staff. The
daily staffing includes 8-9 RNs. Patient ratios are 2 RNs and 2 RTs
per patient during procedures. Daily shifts run Monday to Friday
from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Night shifts are on call only. The skill
set most recruited for includes: - Must have ACLS, BLS, NIH, and a
current RN license. Preferred skills include neuro and
electrophysiology experience. Typical procedures performed in this
unit include cardiac catheterizations, peripheral procedures,
a-fib/flutter, SVT, VT, and complex neuro interventions related to
stroke. The best personality fit for this position is someone who
is a team player. The position requires floating to recover
catheter lab patients. Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
On-call responsibilities will be by rotation if the need arises.
