Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Echo Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Job Details: • Work mid-shift schedule from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM • Must have ARDMS - RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography or CCI RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) certification from Cardiac Credentialling International • Must be able to perform TTE (Transthoracic echocardiograms) and TEE (Transesophageal echocardiogram) • Typical procedures include TTE (echos, bubble studies), TEE procedures, pre-ablation TEE, and post TAVR TTE • Assist with echo guided pericardiocentesis procedures • Work with new GE echo machines and Meditech EMR system • Must be able to push/pull and drive echo machine to multiple areas and rooms throughout the hospital • Call available if needed with minimal call requirements • No floating to other units required • Must wear scrubs as per facility dress code requirements Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive 404-bed medical center that provides advanced cardiac diagnostic services.
