Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for
a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring a CA RN
license and recent L&D experience. Responsibilities - Position
is in a hospital Labor & Delivery setting - Night shift from 7:00
PM to 7:30 AM, working 12-hour shifts - 13-week assignment with 36
hours per week - Patient population encompasses a range of labor
and delivery cases, including high-risk obstetrics - Utilizes the
EPIC EMR system - Provide comprehensive care for patients in labor
and delivery, including high-risk cases - Follow hospital-specific
policies and participate as part of the L&D nursing team - Must
comply with vaccination requirements including COVID and flu if
applicable - Local and travel candidates receive the same rate -
Scrubs required as per hospital dress code - Subject to policies
limiting assignment duration to two years with a mandatory 90-day
break before returning Requirements - Active CA RN license required
at the time of consideration - Minimum one year of recent (within
the last three years) full-time equivalent L&D nursing
experience - Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Current
certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Neonatal
Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in
nursing or related field - Preferred: Five or more years of recent
labor and delivery experience - Preferred: At least one year of
high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years -
High-risk OB experience preferred - Experience with EPIC EMR
preferred - Last four digits of SSN and DOB required for
