The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to our patients at all times. This role requires an individual with a strong background in nursing, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep commitment to patient care. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.Responsibilities:As the Permanent Director of Nursing, you will be expected to:1. Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the skilled nursing facility.2. Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve efficiency and enhance patient care.3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of services.4. Monitor patient care for compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.5. Lead and supervise a team of highly skilled nurses, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.6. Coordinate with physicians and other medical professionals to create comprehensive patient care plans.7. Address and resolve any patient concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in nursing care.9. Participate in budget preparation and ensure the department operates within allocated funds.10. Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff.Qualifications:To be considered for the role of Permanent Director of Nursing, applicants must possess the following:
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a nursing role within a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
  • Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing role.
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory healthcare guidelines and standards.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
