working in the ED? Are you a current RN with at least 1 year of
acute care experience? The ED Plus program is for you! Regional
Medical Center has a unique opportunity with the StaRN Plus. - The
next cohort will be starting on June 5, 2023 Important things to
keep in mind:
- For the first 5 -weeks, -attendance is mandatory for all
scheduled training dates to remain in the program. The schedule
will be Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm.
- Shift selections are not guaranteed and will be determined
based off business needs. Shifts may not be determined until after
cohort starts.
- Internal candidates must interview and have accepted offers
prior to -3 weeks of the cohort start date for which you are

opportunity to have didactic and clinical training by HealthTrust

The hospital provides a host of technologically-advanced services
including Cardiovascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Bariatric and General
Surgery, -Interventional Pulmonology -and services for -Women.
Regional holds Joint Commission advanced certification as a
-Comprehensive Stroke Center -and a -Get with the Guidelines --
-Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American
Heart Association/American Stroke Association. It is a
-county-designated STEMI (heart attack) Receiving Center,
designated Lung Cancer Screening Center, a member of
-Extracorporeal Life Support Organization -(ECMO) and is certified
by The Joint Commission in Sepsis care. Qualifications - External
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- Candidates must have previous acute care experience
- Independently maintains license
- Acquires required contact hours to maintain license
- Must be licensed by the state of Nevada
- Training will include BLS/ACLS certification
- Self-motivated and strong communication skills required For
