ABOUT US: Stars Therapy Services is a leader in providing Assessments and Early Intervention for children from birth to age 3 with developmental delays in a naturalistic environment. This includes providing Speech, Physical, and Occupational Therapy using evidence-based practices, while also maintaining cultural sensitivity. We are a contracted, dedicated service provider through the San Andreas Regional Center that services families throughout 4 counties: Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Both Full Time and Part Time Pediatric Occupational Therapists with a passion for working with infants & toddlers in their formative years. You must be comfortable working in a clinic setting as well as traveling to client homes. Whether you have worked in a school or had your own private practice, if your vision is to serve the community, we are looking for you.

ROLE OVERVIEW: Pediatric Occupational Therapist

REPORTS TO: Early Start Program Director

Requirements:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Degree in Occupational Therapy and valid California license; CBOT certification (OTR/L) required
2 - 3 years of related experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; American Sign Language or bilingual ability preferred.
Ability to work in a team oriented setting and collaborate with peers/leadership.
Up-to-date CPR & First Aid Certification (adult, child, & infant) or ability to obtain
Experience with the following assessment tools preferred, but not required: Battelle Developmental Inventory-3 and REEL 4
BASIC & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to travel between different job sites. Valid driver's license, proof of current auto insurance, and clean driving record.
Ability to obtain DOJ background clearance.
Ability to read, comprehend, and write communication through computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/word processing software.
TB and COVID Vaccinations (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
