A San Jose, California based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate family practice physician to join a collaborative community health practice part time. An ideal candidate can be a new graduate, should value practicing evidence-based medicine and should be comfortable treating all ages. This role involves collaboration with other staff members and leading mid-level providers and nursing staff. Required Qualifications

• CA medical license as an MD or DO
• Completion of an approved residency program
• CA DEA certificate before start date
• CPR certification
• Physician's Assistant supervisory certificate Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish Responsibilities
    • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages
    • Develop rapport with patients and works collaboratively with other providers
    • Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up
    • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
    • Participate in quality assurance and utilization review activities as assigned
    • Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy, with SOAP format Benefits
