Description Regional Medical Center of San Jose is a 264 bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center. The hospital provides a host of technologically advanced services including Cardiovascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Bariatric and General Surgery, Interventional Pulmonology and services for Women. Regional holds Joint Commission advanced certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Get with the Guidelines- Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. County-designated STEMI (heart attack) Receiving Center designated Lung Cancer Screening Center, a member of Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ECMO) and certified by The Joint Commission in Sepsis care. In conjunction with the patient and family, develops individualized patient care plan based on nursing diagnosis. Provides direct nursing care based on the plan of care and established priorities. Evaluates and documents the patient/family response to nursing care based on the plan of care and established priorities. LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

  • Minimum: CA RN License,
  • ACLS,
  • BLS
  • Preferred: CCRN
    EXPERIENCE:
    Minimum:2-5 years medical surgical or 1 year Critical Care/Telemetry
    Preferred: 2-5 years Cardiac Telemetry/Critical Care, JCAHO survey

    EDUCATION:
    Minimum: EKG interpretation class
    Preferred: Critical Care Series KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Minimum: Cardiac Telemetry, Care of Patients with Heart Failure and post Cardiac Catheterization.Preferred: Critical care, knowledge of JCAHO standards and safety goals Regional Medical Center of San Jose is 264 bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center.
