Job Description: Ninyo & Moore Geotechnical & Environmental Sciences Consultants has an immediate opening for a Concrete/Soils/Aggregate/Asphalt Laboratory Technician in San Jose, CA. Experience in laboratory testing for soils, concrete, aggregate and/or asphalt, along with certification in ACI, NICET, Caltrans, is desired. Certification with Caltrans and experience with Asphalt testing is a plus. The successful candidate will have knowledge regarding the standard laboratory test methods including proctors, Sieves, Durability's, Cleanness, Sand Equivalent, Atterberg Limits, UC, UU, Console, Expansion index, Asphalt Extraction, Theoretical Maximum Specific Gravity, Sampling, and splitting of samples and more.Qualification: The ideal candidate will have ACI/ASTM/AASHTO/NICET/Caltrans laboratory testing experience and current certifications.Required Skills: Candidate should have excellent mathematical, computer, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic.
