Neogen Care is currently growing the non-medical home care division and would love to have you join our team of dedicated, professional, and reliable caregivers. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.Responsibilities:* Home assistance - Provide light housekeeping, run errands or provide transportation if needed. Accompany clients to appointments and provide medication reminders. Prepare meals, purchase food and provide personal care assistance with activities of daily. Personal care services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming. * Companionship - Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting. Requirements:* Minimum of 6 months of professional experience as a Caregiver* High school diploma or GED * Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time* Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of timePreferences:* Drivers License* CNAs are encouraged to apply but not required to work as a Caregiver* First Aid certificationAbout Neogen Care:Neogen is a home health care organization dedicated to responsibly oversee and deliver high quality, caring, cost effective medical and non-medical home care services, to meet the diverse needs of individuals and families in our care.Our employees enjoy a work culture that promotes wellness.
