Business development will be a large part of this role, so the CEO is looking for someone with a proven ability to build a strong network of healthcare professionals within a given region (current connections would be a big plus!) They invest heavily in developing talent, and have outstanding leadership development program to transition a Director from a different facet of Home Health (i.e. Director of Marketing / Director of Business Development) in to this role as an Executive Director aka Director of Operations. With that said, a savvy Director of Nursing / Director of Patient Care Services who wants to learn operations could excel in this role as well. Highlights:

    • Fiscal planning, budgeting, and management of hospice and home health operations
    • Oversight of the agency's billing, claims, and quality management systems
    • Manages appropriate staffing/recruitment of office employees
    • Ensuring facility policies are developed and implemented in accordance with state/federal regulations
    • Responsible for the overall clinical and financial operations of a home care branch.
    • Maintain full responsibility of the overall functions of the financial areas and cost controls, adhere to financial and accounting policies and procedure and manage expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner.
    • Take action, make decisions and shape team priorities to achieve branch clinical and operational goals.
    • Ensure effective and on-going, on-the-job training of team members, evaluate, record individual and team performance, provide coaching and counseling and make appropriate developmental recommendations.
    • Establish criteria and/or work procedures to achieve a high level of quality, productivity or service.
    • Meet or exceed budgeted revenue and EBITDA on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements through activities such as participating in State Associations, attending courses and reviewing industry publications.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations and the Company's policies and procedures. Qualifications:
      • 2+ years in a Home Health / Home Care leadership role (Administrator, Executive Director, Director of Operations, Director of Business Development / Director of Marketing, Director of Nursing, Director of Patient Care Services, etc)
      • A passion for having an impact on patients, and motivation to build-up an already successful branch. Final salary is per employer discretion and commensurate with experience.
