Read on for more details.What You'll Do:Reporting to the CEO, and based either at our San Jose headquarters or at your home office near a major?airport in the Western United States, our Senior Sales Director?will lead?our national inside and outside sales teams,?our sales engineering team, develop and grow new business, and cultivate?existing and new partnerships. As a member of the Executive Team, you will manage?a dedicated team of sales managers in their mission?to grow revenue. You will collaborate with sales leaders, product experts, marketing teams, and senior management within Atlona and Panduit?as our visions for the future merge?and enhance each company's strengths. Mentoring your sales leadership team, you'll encourage the attainment of?sales quotas, work together to provide accurate forecasting, and manage the budget.?You'll have room to grow into international?market leadership in the future.You will also be an evangelist who will educate customers,?partners, and prospects on our technology, and ensure that your team has the tools and training needed to be successful. Most importantly, you'll inspire your team and anyone you interact with to understand and share the quality, features, benefits, and ROI of Atlona's?growing AV product line.What You'll Bring:Our ideal Senior Sales Director brings the following:

  • At least 7 years of Sales Management, with 4 or more years in a senior management role;
  • A Bachelor's Degree, preferably ins business, engineering, or IT; a BSEE is desirable; an MBA is a plus;
  • A proven record of building and leading sales organizations during periods of rapid growth;
  • Experience leading outside sales, outbound inside sales, and sales engineering teams;
  • Strategic and operational expertise and budget management;
  • AV/IT system integration or manufacturing background with experience selling AV solutions, integrating AV systems, or designing AV systems;
  • Technical knowledge; CTS (AVIXA) and/or CCNA (Cisco) certifications highly desirable;
  • Knowledge of AV systems within large commercial/automated?buildings is highly desirable;
  • Experience developing and executing sales and marketing programs in both consumer electronics and commercial audio/video sales channels, including sales promotions and programs, incentives, comp plans, and loyalty programs;
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers, partners, third-party providers, executive management, and internal cross-functional teams;
  • Experience in managing outside sales reps;
  • International experience is highly desirable;
