**Product Marketing Manager - Cloud Workload Security** + Location: San Jose, California, US + Additional Location(s) Austin, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, open to US locations + Area of Interest Marketing and Communications + Job Type Professional + Technology Interest Cloud and Data Center, Security + Job Id 1247713 **What You'll Do** As a Product Marketing Manager in the Cisco Security team, you'll be a key player in transforming the Cloud Workload Security market, helping to define go-to-market and thought leadership strategies that address the unique requirements of protecting server workloads in modern hybrid data center architectures. Your mission will be to effectively position Cisco Cloud Workload Security products to a variety of audiences including sales, technology partners, press and analysts as well as business and technical decision makers. You will be responsible for translating key customer pain points into unique value propositions as well as mastering knowledge of Cisco Cloud Workload security solutions, markets, customers, ecosystems and competitors. **Responsibilities include:** + Drive product launches as well as support promotional or demand generation campaigns + Create differentiated messaging that "tells the story" about solving tangible customer problems + Represent Cisco Security at events, conferences, with partners, sales, and industry analysts. + Develop content strategies i.e. planning, campaigns, execution and distribution. + Content creation: datasheets, blogs, videos, technology demos, white papers, web pages, sales enablement, social media campaigns, infographics, case studies and customer testimonials + Maintain relationships with third-party industry analysts on behalf of Cisco Security products **Who You'll Work With** In this role, you?ll join the Cisco Security Product Marketing team. You?ll work with a group of passionate, fun, driven and intelligent individuals to tell the story of Cisco Security to our customers, partners, and the marketplace. You will partner with different teams across Cisco, including sales, engineering, and product management, to deliver best-in-class marketing content, messaging, and campaigns that drive new opportunities and support customer engagements. **Who You Are** + You're a storyteller with the ability to translate complex technological concepts into real-world customer benefits and clearly communicate them to the marketplace across a variety of mediums + You have 3-5 years of experience in B2B outbound product marketing or technical product marketing + You're laser-focused on learning about the customer. You know that good marketing depends on an intimate knowledge of customer behaviors and personas. You build marketing content using a "customer-in" approach, as opposed to a "product-out" approach + You have excellent communications skills ? both written and oral + You know how to demo technical products and can present those demos across a wide array of audiences, from partners to sales and customers + You have experience with channel and partner marketing + You are creative, and you infuse that creativity into creating marketing content and programs + You are passionate about technology and strive to be up-to-date on the latest industry trends and market conditions + You have the ability to collaborate, lead and work in a fast-paced matrixed organization + You are experienced in crafting successful content strategies (i.e. planning, strategy, execution and distribution) throughout the entire buyer journey + You're a content machine, with extensive experience creating content such as videos, infographics, and presentations that are compelling and appealing. Examples will be requested. + You're driven and hungry. You want to drive a project through to completion effectively and comprehensively. You have the ability to work with limited supervision in defining initial goals and addressing complex issues as they arise + BA/BS or advanced technical degree or MBA (engineering, marketing, business preferred) + Prior technical or marketing experience with network security solutions such as next-generation firewalls (NGFWs), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Advanced Malware Protection and/or Sandboxing technologies + Experience with cloud services and at least a foundational knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. **Why Cisco** At Cisco, each person brings their talents to work as a team and make a difference.
