As our company continues to grow, we’re hiring a Vice President of Product Management who will be responsible for all of our Software as a Service (SAAS) activity. The person in this role will drive all aspects of our go to market plans for our SAAS business. We have several well-known automotive anchor customers and this role will leverage those anchor customers to rapidly expand our activity with these anchor customers, and into adjacent markets. We’re looking for a strategic and visionary leader to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who is eager to roll up their sleeves and to make measurable contributions in shaping the future of Company. In this position, you will define and execute on Company’ strategy for IoT applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategy development capabilities, a thorough understanding of defining, developing, and driving new products into the market, and a track record of setting aggressive growth targets and meeting them. Manage and grow a global team of product management and marketing personnel. Responsible for business strategy, product roadmap, and revenue attainment. Develop Company’ 3-5 year plan for our SAAS offerings. Investigate and recommend value-maximizing business models supporting the strategy, including horizontal/platform vs vertical solution-oriented approaches. Drive all aspects of the lifecycle of the product/service (definition, development, market entry, etc.). Function as a “mini-GM” – own the success. Develop the “whole product” to take to market, including engaging with key ecosystem and strategic partners. Make recommendations around build/buy/partner decisions. 10+ years of software and SaaS product marketing/management experience, with proven background in hiring and leading a world-class team. Excellent track record of successfully driving new products/services into the market; ability to create clear and compelling plans and to mobilize an organization to execute. Strong strategic mindset with a keen sense of value drivers. Track record of taking a logical and data-driven approach to tackle complex problems. Dynamic thinker with a voracious appetite for information, constantly pushing and questioning, connecting the dots on future scenarios, and pivoting in new directions as appropriate. Understanding of SaaS business models, with significant background/experience in the areas of business intelligence, data analytics, and Big Data. Familiarity with M2M/IoT market desirable but not required BA/BS; MBA preferred
