- Job Posting Title: Senior Engineering Manager, Software Development - Premiere Pro Job Description: The Role We are the Video Cloud group, building next generation collaborative video editing solutions and workflows. We are enabling customers of Adobe's video apps (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder) to connect and build collaboratively across the world by using new cloud-based services and solutions. Our tools are used by Hollywood, major news outlets, social media influencers (YouTube / Instagram), and creatives all over the world. What you'll do As the senior engineering manager of the team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the development team which delivers our world class technology stack for cloud-connected, collaborative video editing and media management solutions. You will also collaborate across teams and disciplines, partnering with Product Management, Marketing, Design and Program Management team members. Driving the effort from a process perspective, as well as strategically determining the best approaches for delivering high value and high quality solutions for Premiere Pro customers, is a significant portion of this role.   • Responsible for all aspects of team success while delivering superb quality for the customer
  • Mentor and grow team members in their careers and facilitate success in their daily activities towards stated goals and objectives
  • Represent team progress and milestones to senior leadership, provide roadmaps and schedules on an ongoing basis
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in crafting and building sophisticated and collaborative features and services
  • Responsible for solving problems that arise and to continually improve and enhance the system and product quality
  • Work hand-in-hand with senior engineers, experience designers and product managers to build the right set of features for our customers What you need to succeed
    • 10+ years of leading/managing software engineering teams
    • Interest in developing solutions to ensure we deliver nothing but the best user experiences and quality
    • Understanding of software development processes - including Agile best practices
    • Knowledge of C++
    • Web services experience (crafting and maintaining)
    • Experience developing applications for Mac and/or Windows
    • Exposure to, and experience with, video editing software (bonus points for Adobe Premiere Pro experience)
    • Desire to learn

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several--- U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position---is $153,300 -- $301,100 annually. Pay---within this range varies by work location---and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,---and experience.
