    Primary Purpose

    The Electrical Team Manager is responsible for managing all operational functions at multiple branches.

    Essential Functions

    --- Direct oversight of Ops Specialist/Permits, Electrical Line Technicians, yard personnel and Electrical Shops.
    --- Conduct electrical inspections, manage engagement with electrical inspectors and auditors, manage relationships with power companies and communicate their processes to impacted personnel
    --- Manage electrical inventory
    --- Monitor all deliveries and installations of temporary equipment to ensure the best efficiencies. Recommend measures to improve operational practices and quality of customer care
    --- Work directly with other departments to ensure excellent/positive communication within the region
    --- Plan and schedule jobs for our electrical technicians
    --- Maintain proper staffing levels to meet and exceed customer and branch needs
    --- Work with our sales team and assist in job walks to design power systems for our customers
    --- Work with the Regional field ops manager to develop and implement standard practices and efficiency recommendations
    --- Review and approve timecards prior to submitting for payroll processing.
    --- Review and approve time off request forms and schedule time off based on operational necessity
    --- Administer the company's safety program at the branch. Work with Safety & HR departments to safety coordinate training, where necessary
    --- Responsible for employee development & conducting periodic performance reviews
    --- Create and maintain a positive, safe, and effective work environment
    --- Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 Year / Associate Degree from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 5 Years of related experience and/or training

    • Valid Driver License (Class C)
    • Knowledge of Electrical code

    • Knowledge of all company electrical assets in inventory
      Physical Requirements

      --- Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them

      --- Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling
      --- Lift up to 40lbs from your waits to your shoulders
      --- Lift 30lbs from the floor to your head
      --- Crouch and squat
      --- Push 100lbs and pull 100lbs horizontally
      --- Sit while answering phones or reply to emails
      --- Repeat the same movements when entering data at the computer
