What You'll Do
- Develop, document, and operationalize cross-BE pricing
processes, aligning them with Cisco's strategic pricing goals,
buying programs, commercial requirements, service strategy, partner
strategy, and customer purchasing experience.
- Build cross-BE pricing & packaging guidance/guardrails and
document best practices across a "catalog" of standard offer types
(including operating lease / as-a-subscription and as-a-service) to
ensure consistency in price setting approach.
- Define Cisco approach to cross-BE pricing waterfalls, metering,
SLOs, etc, and framework for variation by RTM, segment, geo.
Who You'll Work With
You will work closely with multiple functions inside and outside
the Central Pricing Team to ensure alignment and a consistent
approach to pricing and packaging across Cisco.
- You will partner with BEs and solutions teams to develop
pricing and packaging best practices, accelerate key price
strategy/price setting decisions, and help drive alignment where
tradeoffs are required between BEs to ensure the best overall
outcome for Cisco.
- You will work closely with Buying Program function to ensure
consistency between buying program and non-buying program
- You will closely collaborate with the Pricing Analytics
function to incorporated data-driven feedback into pricing
decisions and processes.
- You will coordinate with Commerce Systems, IT, and Operations
teams to ensure pricing and packaging requirements are incorporated
into technology roadmaps and that price strategy / setting
decisions can be fully operationalized via processes, policies, and
Who You Are
Our minimum requirements for this role:
- 7+ years' experience in a senior pricing, finance, or a related
role in the high-tech industry.
- 5+ years' experience developing, implementing, and/or managing
pricing strategies, guidelines, and processes for two or more
companies with large, complex, multi-product B2B technology
- BS / BA degree in finance, accounting or equivalent combination
of skills & experience.
- Strong understanding of HW, SW, and aaS offers and pricing
- A Strategic thinker with deep understanding of pricing
- Strong communicator able to collaborate and work effectively in
an "influence" role across a diverse set of teams at multiple
levels of a large organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects
the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S.
and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For
non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only;
employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring
ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation
target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring
location and additional factors, including but not limited to
skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or

U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision
insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short
and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and
numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid
holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday,
plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days
of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away
to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into

to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on
top of their base salary, which is split between quota and
non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at
the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue
attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds
100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five
times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For
non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales
objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans
do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive
compensation to be paid.
