Job Description:
Manager, Global Residential Products Partner Training What to
Expect As Global Channel Training Manager - you will focus on all
aspects of Training for our Global Tesla Energy Channel Sales for
APAC, EMEA, and NAM. We seek someone with years of experience
developing creative, thoughtful, innovative solutions that
contribute to a World Class training organization. As the team
continues to grow - we need a strong leader specializing in
operational efficiency, analytics, strategy, and people leadership.
What You'll Do
- Train and educate Global Installation Partner Network (new
candidates and continuing education), including:
- Building and delivering training content
- Installer operational efficiency training
- Cross-pollinate ideas between channels
- Coordinate regional in-person hands-on training
- Build regional, in-person training capacity, also Tesla Energy
Mobile Training Vans
- Support partner onboarding through targeted training
application for both sales and installation support
- Develop and deliver comprehensive train-the-trainer programs
for distribution partners on product features and installation
requirements.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration among sales, marketing,
product management, and technical support teams to assess training
needs and create relevant content.
- Manage and maintain the global training calendar, ensuring
smooth logistics coordination for in-person and virtual sessions,
including scheduling, resource allocation, and participant
communication.
- Establish key performance indicators to evaluate the
effectiveness of training initiatives and identify opportunities
for continuous improvement.
- Facilitate open communication between channel partners and
internal teams, creating a supportive and collaborative environment
that enhances partner success and satisfaction.
- Regularly assess and refine training materials, methodologies,
and delivery techniques to maximize the quality and impact of our
programs.
- Oversee the training budget, ensuring all initiatives are
cost-effective and aligned with company objectives.
- Provide training and education for Certified Installers,
distributors, installers, and internal teams.
- Support sales teams with product presentations and educational
materials at both CI and Tesla-led consumer events.
- Conduct auditing and quality assurance for the Certified
Installer Program.
- Expand training programs to include products (Powerwall,
Powerwall+, Solar, Wall Connector) and services (Tesla Electric).
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, education, or a
related field; advanced degree is preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development,
preferably in the energy industry
- Ability to travel regularly up to 75%; this is an on-the-road
job serving our customers, including international travel to the
regions and countries supported
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing
successful training programs for a diverse audience across multiple
regions, countries and languages
- Experience of leading Training programs in an exponentially
growing operations environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants at all
levels of expertise.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a
keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks
simultaneously.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a
fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with battery storage systems and the energy
industry is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits

Expected Compensation
$76,000 - $276,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards +
benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors,
including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience. The total compensation package for this position may
also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
