We are looking for an experienced software defined storage (SDS) product Director to work on robust and scalable storage management solutions. The successful candidate will manage the product requirements and strategic direction of the management applications for our storage array systems utilizing open source and third-party software tools. NATURE OF JOB DUTIES:

• Collaborate with customers, sales team, and development team to drive product features for VES' SDS platform
• Define market requirements and opportunities
• Determine key product attributes that will provide a competitive edge and perform market analysis
• Identify competitors and develop SWOT chart for each
• Understand key technologies and how they can be used to enhance market position
• Experience with key storage technologies such as Kubernetes, Software Defined Storage, and Containers
• Understanding the complexities of defining US and international markets
• Support the team with pricing strategy to differentiate offerings
• Engage is sales cycle to help close deals and ensure product differentiation is well understood with target customers
• Participate in trade shows and evangelize product offering
• Work across the hardware and software development teams to drive unified product strategy EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with storage systems.
  • Understanding of storage and cloud computing technologies, emerging trends.
  • Experience in conceptualizing, recommending storage solutions for large enterprise-level projects.
  • Experience in cloud related technologies such as containerization, virtualization, software defined networks or software defined storage etc.
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree.
