Responsibilities
Synaptics is looking for an experienced Manager to support both Mfg Operations and the CAD/EDA Organizations. -The role requires developing a strong partnership with the business leaders and internal finance teammates. -This includes providing guidance on business decisions by analyzing, preparing, and summarizing recommendations for new product investment, financial plans and operating status. Other responsibilities will be participating in financial close, forecast/outlook, variance analysis, annual budget, strategic planning, and special projects. Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Partner with Operations and Business Unit leadership to drive product cost reduction / Gross Margin Improvement
  
• Work closely with Business Units and CAD/EDA leadership to perform cost/benefit analysis for new investments
  
• Support VPs to help them achieve financial targets in dynamic business conditions
  
• Support Annual Operating Plan, Strategic Portfolio Review and ad-hoc projects
  
• Constantly review current processes and implement improvements for better efficiencies
  
• Be able to see the big picture whilst being detail-oriented
  
• Good communication skills and a teamwork spirit
  
• Partner with cost accounting team to manage company inventory reserves process
  
  Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • At least 5 years of related work experience
    
  • Bachelor's degree (accounting/finance) or MBA/CPA
    
  • Advanced level Excel modeling skills and PowerPoint skills
    
  • Semiconductor industry experience
    
  • Experience with Oracle / Hyperion
