in revenue in FY 2022 and has completed > $10B in strategic
acquisitions since 2018 including Marketo, Magento, Workfront, and
Frame.io. Adobe recently announced the intent to acquire Figma for
$20B in cash and stock. Our Corporate Development team drives
Adobe's inorganic growth roadmap in conjunction with our CEO, top
team, and senior leaders. We strive to increase shareholder value
through exceptional, inorganic opportunities.We are looking for a
high-impact, well-rounded leader who is comfortable thinking at the
100,000 ft altitude as well as delving into the details of both
deal mechanics and post-merger success.Ideally, this leader will
translate Adobe strategy into clear inorganic landscapes, develop
"around the corner" investment and M&A themes, facilitate
executive decision-making, and establish operational cadences to
measure acquisition and investment success.This individual will
help run "the business" of Corporate Development and M&A by
scaling deal and post-merger operations, including appropriate
executive reviews of our investment and acquisition portfolio
(e.g., QBRs) and evolve strategic reporting to Adobe's Exec Team
and Board of Directors. A successful candidate will also naturally
lean into critical areas of long-term acquisition success.This
leader will also with the VP of Corporate Development to define the
external brand-building opportunities across the ecosystem of
founders, investors, and advisors.Prior operating experience in
global, cross-functional, and collaborative environments will
ensure success in this dynamic, high-impact position.What You'll
Do
- Translate strategy into acquisition and investment themes
across Digital Experience and Digital Media, in partnership with
Corporate & BU strategy and Corporate Development leaders
- Ideate 'outside-in' understanding of market landscapes,
industry trends, competition, whitespace opportunities, target
segments, and emerging companies (e.g., calendar of key
conferences, portfolio/theme conversations with banks/VC/PE/Growth
Equity, competitive analysis).
- Build out key Corporate Development operational metrics and
reporting across sourcing (e.g., companies of interest,
interactions/conversations, banker meetings); define funnel stages
and qualification/exit criteria to ensure efficient scaling.
- Articulate strategic and operational acquisition & investment
success thinking across Corporate Development, M&A, and
internal partners (e.g., GTM, Product, Finance)
- Create an external engagement strategy that confirms Abobe as a
world-class acquirer and strategic investor, including being a
great 'home for founders'.
- Lead, support and/or coordinate key aspects of deal sourcing
and execution (e.g., due diligence, management meetings,
integration planning, valuation / ROI / payback).
- Mentor corporate development team members and extended
partners
- Manage all operational tools, key vendors contracts, and
budgets for Corp Dev, including Virtual Data Rooms, CapIQ,
Pitchbook, SharePoint, Dynamics, etc.What you need to succeed
- 15+ years of relevant work experience across strategy
consulting, investment banking, corporate development, and private
equity (value addition or operational teams). Operating or General
Management experience and MBA is a plus.

reflects the cost of labor across several--- U.S. geographic
markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The
U.S. pay range for this position---is $178,300 -- $374,600
annually. Pay---within this range varies by work location---and may
also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,---and experience.

roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation
(TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the
form of sales commission plans. - Non-sales roles starting salaries

form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).In addition, certain roles
may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire
equity award.
