Sr. Executive Assistant - Cisco EVP, COO
What You Will Do:Cisco seeks a Sr. Executive Administrative
Professional to provide support for the Executive Vice President
and Chief Operating Officer.Core Responsibilities:Executive
Calendar & Contacts: Maintain the integrity of Executive's calendar
by managing time most effectively. Schedule approved priority
meetings. Review daily schedule to ensure It reflects calendar
guidelines and business priorities. Review daily meeting details to
ensure agenda, pre-read and briefing are included, and required
participants have accepted at least 48 hours in advance. Ensure
timely resolution of calendar questions/conflicts and escalate to
executive for guidance as needed. Proactively communicate calendar
changes and approval requests with executive and core team in webex
space. Facilitate weekly calendar meetings with core team to align
on short and long-term priorities and prep.Executive Proxy &
Correspondence: Act as proxy for communications and approvals; as
authorized. Answer general questions; refer/redirect routine
matters to other parties; as appropriate, and follow-up to ensure
proper disposition. Resolve issues within specified policies and
guidelines. Determine when executive action is required, provide
insight and recommendation(s) as appropriate.Executive Leadership
Meetings & Events: Plan ahead to ensure effective and efficient
management of executive leadership meetings & events. Throughout
event planning, keep safety and health top of mind. Send meeting
invites (well in advance) to block time on leadership team
calendar. Partner with Global Events Team on budget and contract.
Confirm optimal meeting rooms, hotel accommodations, meal
locations, catering, IT support/requirements, team activities and
giveaways, etc.Global Travel: Effectively manage global travel plan
and logistics. Plan ahead to book flights, hotel accommodations,
ground transportation, and arrange meals, etc. Coordinate travel
plans with other leaders/support teams as needed.Executive Expense
Reports: Manage timely processing of Cisco business expenses.Other
Projects: Provide support on special projects as
needed.Organizational Alignment & Relationship Building: Actively
engage in Cisco's cross-functional network for Executive
Administrative Assistants and lead the organization's community of
EAs. Help onboard and mentor new EAs.

Who You Will Work With:You will build strong partnerships with the
ONEx leadership/support teams, business partners, as well as across
Cisco's Executive Leadership Team. Also, with the Global Events
Team, Global Travel Services, Workplace Resources, Catering, and
Technical Support, etc.
What Are Minimum Role Requirements:* Executive Assistant (EA) or
equivalent experience; 10+ years' experience in administrative
environment. A minimum of 4+ years supporting at an SVP level or
higher* Expert level knowledge of Windows desktop computer
applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.Core
competency in managing executive travel, email, calendar, and
contact list* Preferred: BA/BS or equivalent experience; past work
experience in the high-tech industry.
