PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a
positive change in their lives to join our Yale Navigation team as
the Associate Director (interim housing program) in Santa Ana.

ABOUT OUR INTERIM HOUSING PROGRAMPATH's Interim Housing programs
provide low-barrier, high-tolerance settings for program
participants, referred to as guests, who are experiencing
homelessness and have a variety of complex health, functional and
social needs. -
WHAT IS AN ASSOCIATE DIRECTORAs part of the Interim Housing team,
the Assoicate Director ensures a safe and stable environment and
the delivery of high-quality and effective services to guests
participating in the program. -
Position Responsibilities: -
- Provide oversight of program contracts to ensure successful
implementation, coordination of participant services, achievement
of program performance measures, and evaluation of
services
- Provide clinical oversight of services to ensure program
participants receive the services identified on their
individualized service plans
- Train new staff and provide onboarding support in the areas of,
but not limited to, program and field case management approach,
documentation expectations, and file structure
- Support the professional development of staff by providing
training, opportunities for professional development, and
appropriate guidance
- Provide education, network with, and serve as a representative
of the program to local agencies, coalitions, community
stakeholders, Law Enforcement, City and County government,
residents, and other organizations
WHAT YOU BRINGWe're looking for candidates that:
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities as evidenced by increasing
levels of responsibility and management over the course of
career.
- Demonstrated supervision capabilities in a similarly complex
environment including the ability to provide training, orientation,
consultation, and guidance within clinical specialization of
practice.
- Demonstrated familiarity and comfort working with issues
related to homelessness, substance abuse, mental health diagnosis,
co-occurring disorders, and history of trauma.
- Experience in the following areas: Providing and/or supervising
intensive case management services within a low-barrier,
transitional housing model; Psychosocial Assessment; Field-based
case management interventions; Working with clients with
co-occurring or tri-morbid conditions (mental health, physical
health, and substance use); Crisis Intervention -
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Six (6) years of experience providing case management services
within a low-barrier, transitional housing model OR an equivalent
combination of education and/or experience.
- Three (3) years of experience in supervisorial capacity
building and managing teams in a homeless services environment,
related field, or working with vulnerable populations. -
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Four (4) years of experience providing case management services
within a low-barrier, transitional housing model OR an equivalent
combination of education and/or experience.
- One (1) year of experience in supervisorial capacity building
and managing teams in a homeless services environment, related
field, or working with vulnerable populations. -
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTSRegardless of qualifications, candidates
must:
- Have employment eligibility verification
- Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid
training
- Provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
- Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
- Tuberculosis Test
- Background Screening
- Drug Test
DRIVINGDriving is an essential function of this position. To meet
the employment requirements for this role, all candidates must:

- A valid driver's license
- Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used
during work duties
