us!The Lumentum Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) department is
looking for a highly motivated and passionate EHS Program Manager
to lead ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and to support EHS
programs at its San Jose facilities and operations. The EHS Program
Manager will contribute to continuously improving the safety
culture and meeting/exceeding regulatory and company policy
requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with
various departments across the company and work within cleanrooms
and R&D laboratories. He/she/they will also support
manufacturing in a fast paced production environment that runs
24x7. The EHS Program Manager will help ensure compliance with
Federal, State, and Local regulations.The EHS Program Manager
will:
- Lead projects and contribute to the development of systems to
support preparations for the implementation of
- Administer site emergency response plans, including fire life
safety and evacuation drills, and toxic gas monitoring
response.
- Participate in business continuity planning and response.
- Execute the Contractor Safety Program to ensure contractors and
subcontractors have an effective safety program.
- Develop, implement, and monitor for adherence to Electrical
Safety programs within manufacturing and R&D environments.
- Execute the Industrial Hygiene Program to develop and perform
IH sampling plans as needed.
- Lead and facilitate Safety Committees.
- Conduct EHS incident investigations and propose corrective
actions to prevent recurrence.
- Perform process hazard analyses and risk assessments to
identify and minimize/eliminate risks.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with
regulatory and company EHS requirements.
- Keep abreast of any safety and environmental law or regulation
changes that impact the organization.
- Provide technical expertise, advice, and guidance to
operational and functional staff regarding current and anticipated
EHS issues.
- Support and maintain other EHS programs and activities, as
necessary.Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering,
Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or
related discipline.
- 5-7+ years in providing hands on EHS support in a manufacturing
environment.
- Formal lead auditor qualification in ISO 14001 and ISO
45001.
- Experience implementing and auditing successfully ISO 14001 and
ISO 45001 systems.
- Familiarity with a broad range of Federal, State and Local
regulatory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communications
skills (verbal, written, presentation).
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative
relationships and gain support for ideas, proposals, projects, and
solutions.
- Attention to detail, effective organizational, analytical, and
problem-solving skills.
- Results oriented, and proven ability to manage time and juggle
competing priorities.
- Excellent analytical, computer, and spreadsheet skills.
- Excellent computer and information technology skills, including
MS Office applications, MS SharePoint, Box, or similar
applications.
- Experience in an EHS role in a wafer fab or cleanroom is a
plus.
- Experience with ProcessMap EHS software is a plus.
- Certifications (CSP, CHMM, CPE, CIH) is a plus.Base Salary
Range: $79,100-$113 (USD) Disclaimer:Final base salary for the
successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but
not limited to, job location, where work will be performed,
qualifications, work history and relevant experience. With our
