Welcome to the team of geeks passionate about solving this very problem and making the world a better place---a secure place.We have a highly scalable cloud infrastructure spread across 40+ data centers where we run our cloud security applications that operate at a massive scale - 500B+ requests per day from 65M+ daily active users.What You'll Do - - - - - - - - - You will lead geographically distributed large engineering teams to drive our SSE / SASE services offering including traffic acquisition and infrastructure services - - - - - - - - - You will lead key transformational initiatives including cloud-native IPSEC headend, ZTNA including building & operating services in the public cloud. - - - - - - - - - You will drive operational excellence by managing the team to KPIs and implementing effective processes and systems that enable the organization to enterprise scale. - - - - - - - - - Partner with multi-functional core stakeholders within engineering, product management, and field teams to lead the technology direction and facilitate key technical decision points. - - - - - - - - - Collaborate with multiple engineering groups within Cisco to drive E2E solutions and enable leveraging of technologies. - - - - - - - - - Work closely with Product leads to drive product and technology strategy. - - - - - - - - - Build a culture of execution excellence coupled with innovation. - - - - - - - - - Build a team of hard-working and passionate leaders as we scale.Who You Are - - - - - - - - - Strong track record of leadership in technology strategy, managing large organizations (100+ engineers) delivering and operating widely deployed SaaS products. - - - - - - - - - Track record of delivering products through one of the main Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or GCP - - - - - - - - - Experience in leading and collaborating with teams across time zones. - - - - - - - - - Background in driving agile and lean practices, DevOps culture, and iterative customer feedback-based development. - - - - - - - - - Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferredHighly Desirable Skills - - - - - - - - - Strong technical expertise in networking technologies and cloud architectural patterns.
