Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Location: - San Jose, CA, US Requisition ID: - 6448 Company: - Epson America, Inc Epson America Inc. is seeking a talented Product Marketing Manager in the Epson Microdevices group to provide creative leadership in marketing Timing Products (Crystals and Oscillators) to Epson's wide array of 5G Networking customers. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with passion for growing our business and right blend of technical background & customer management skills. -This position will be based out of Epson America's San Jose office with a hybrid schedule. At Epson, our hybrid schedule is only 6 days per month.

1. Segment Marketing
a. Drive end equipment analysis and obtain block diagrams for 5G Networking products
b. Understand and identity timing requirements and our competitive positioning. -
c. Attend trade shows and webinars to understand/influence industry trends, adoption cycle, and customer needs
d. Map industry & customer design locations
e. Execute customer campaigns in end equipment application segments
f. Present business plans to R&D and senior management
g. Drive channel demand creation through engagement activities and trainings with Sales managers, representatives and distribution
h. Perform TAM/SAM/SOM analysis
i. Pursue reference designs with IC vendors making architectural silicon2. Technical Product Marketing
a. Present Epson value proposition, products and product roadmap to customer design engineers
b. Own product line presentations, datasheets, web content, and sales training for assigned timing (crystals and oscillator) products
c. Create marketing collateral like white papers, blogs, videos, application notes etc.
d. Conduct competitive analysis
e. Initiate new product proposals, identify product gaps and work with R&D and senior management to manage roadmap for assigned products
f. Actively participate in product life cycle management (NPI, NRND, EOL etc.) with engineering, Sales, Operations and R&D teams
g. Assist customers with product selection, including crosses and configuration3. Customer Account Management
a. Actively engage (F2F/virtual meetings) with existing customers and grow the existing customer base
b. Write detailed and insightful meeting notes
c. Extract key project information from customer meetings, document and organize technical information and actively engage with our engineering teams to provide timely feedback to customers to exceed their expectations
d. Keep senior management up to date with key account information
e. Assist customers with product questions and selection, including crosses and configurationAbout Your Experience
--- Strong initiative, self-starter, curiosity, can-do attitude is a must
--- Strong customer management skills
--- Strong interpersonal skills, including working in a multi-cultural and geographically distributed team environment
--- Attention to detail, proven ability to multi-task
--- Strong technical fundamentals
--- Knowledge in analog circuit design, jitter and frequency is a plus
--- Strong engineering, data analysis, and problem-solving skills
--- Experience working with electronics distributors and manufacturers' representatives is preferred
--- Knowledge of account management and basic marketing concepts
--- Strong communications skills - written, oral, presentation, and listening
--- Regular travel to customers - up to 25%, US and international
