Job Description:
Program: Raising Early Awareness and Creating Hope JOB SUMMARY:
This position has primary responsibility for oversight of mental
health and case management services to children and their families
referred to a community services program. The Program Manager may
have their own caseload in addition to overseeing their staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Master's degree in
a social science field plus at least (4) years of experience in a
behavioral health field. One (1) year of direct supervisory
experience preferred License or Certification BBS Licensed as LMFT,
LCSW, LPCC Valid California Driver's License. Specialized Skills
Ability to interact and communicate both verbally and in writing
with seriously emotionally disturbed children, parents, foster
parents, care takers, schools, other staff, physicians, county
agencies, other health care providers and the public. Demonstrated
understanding of emotional and behavioral disorders and its
treatment. Demonstrated understanding of co-occurring disorders
Demonstrated leadership, organization and management skills.
Demonstrated ability to visually and audibly assess the mental
status, behavior and needs of potential admissions to the program.
Demonstrated knowledge of mental health laws and regulations,
ethical standards, practice standards, and documentation
requirements. Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of community
services and county agencies preferred. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties Provides various forms of supervisory activity to
each staff person assigned including but not limited to in-vivo
supervision, role modeling, and co-facilitation, a minimum of one
hour per week. Oversees mental health services, case management,
and crisis intervention services provided by assigned program
staff. This includes the responsibility of being familiar with
current practices and guidelines to ensure adherence to Federal,
State and County regulations. Interviews referred clients and
significant others to assess and evaluate their appropriateness and
need for services. Availability by phone to assist in crisis
intervention and provide support and assistance in problem
resolution. Participates in various client team meetings on an
as-needed basis, including Treatment Team Meetings, Family Therapy
sessions, and Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings to support the team
with addressing the client's needs. Tracks and addresses staff
productivity, documentation and timelines. Provides performance
evaluations to staff based on clinical and program requirements.
Reviews all progress notes, treatment plans, assessments and other
clinical paperwork for their assigned staff. To apply please email

Salary Potential Work Schedule: Monday to Friday Maximum
