Job Description:

The Sales Support Manager is a challenging, dynamic position based in San Jose. The Sales Support Manager manages the daily operations of the sales support team. They will oversee the resource allocation and workflow of all sales support activities including order processing, RFP response, data collection and the preparation of reports. This position has high visibility within the company and frequently requires interfacing with senior-level management.
Trains and coaches the sales support team.
Identifies and resolves operational issues.
Oversees the resource allocation and workflow of all sales support activities including order processing.
Responsible to review and approve quotations for outside sales.
Resolves complex customer requests or complaints.
Facilitates problem solving with customers and outside sales personnel to ensure orders meet all sales programs and booking requirements.
Makes decisions and follows through to facilitate the resolution of customer problems.


  • Bachelor's in business administration or in a related discipline; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • Prior experience in sales support/customer service.
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience.
  • Experience in some sales capacity or environment is preferred
  • Must be well versed in effectively interacting with clients, company leaders, and team members to identify and process their requirements
  • Must be able to courteously interact with customers to ensure positive customer experiences, including any escalations.
  • Motivated, self-driven personality
  • Must have strong communication skills/diplomatic/professional while being flexible/able to work under pressure.
  • This is a hybrid role, 3 days required per week in office (M,W and Th).
