is seeking an engaging and passionate individual to serve as our
Vice President of Product. - In this role, our VP of Product leads
a team of Product Managers and Business Analsyt -in transforming
consumer -payments. Candidates should have a deep understanding of
-payments, and payment technologies. Having proven experience
building great experiences for consumers, the Vice President,
Product is comfortable partnering with business leaders across the
company to define and design industry-leading solutions. - This
expansive leadership -role will focus on building new products on a
versatile payment platform (combining closed-loop and open-loop
networks) while also partnering internally and externally to expand
the payment network. This leader will work across our internal
engineering teams along with sales, marketing, operations, finance,
and legal to deliver transformative solutions. -The team member
will ensure alignment across the business and product plans
including capital/funding commitments, core requirements and
capabilities, functional impacts, cross-functional roles,
development cycles and more. If you are motivated by comoplexity,

Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and direct a product vision and roadmap for multiple
strategic products, including introduction of new products, new
functionality, and services that materially expand market reach,
delivering seamless, secure, and reliable payments experience that
delight our clients and members
- Understand the business objectives, challenges, and competitive
pressures of key customers to create a product strategy that drives
development efforts to solve needs
- Impact the work of strategic business units within Optum,
delivering healthcare payment solutions to the top health plans and
employers in the U.S
- Able to navigate through technical requirements while
simultaneously distilling and communicating complex subject matter
to all stakeholders
- Collaborate with key internal customers across the organization
to develop requirements, prioritize features, and translate to the
roadmap while seeking to understand the voice of the customer
- Identify and lead partnership efforts to expand payment network
to support healthcare services payments across different service
categories
- Provide leadership to and be accountable for the work direction
and success of senior-level professional staff
- Ensure the final product is functional, well documented,
operational, and meets design and feature specifications
- Direct efforts with ongoing releases, partnering with
engineering and software quality assurance teams to ensure
capabilities and features continue to operate at or above all
quality targets to deliver superior product performance
- Direct efforts on complex, technical initiatives

- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS)
- 7+ years of experience in a product development role
successfully launching new market-leading payment products
- 5+ years of experience working in an agile development
environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead by influence across a diverse
team
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this

- MBA
- Financial payment industry experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an
innate ability to develop and deliver presentations to senior level
executives
- Ability to grasp technical processes quickly and migrate
through a high degree of uncertainty, understanding new product
development is ever changing
- Ability to envision, direct, and execute product adaptations
and product extensions to take advantage of market opportunities To
