Job Description:

For our direct client, a global firm, we seek an experienced NOC/Cloud Manager to focus on running the cloud operations related to a large suite of applications on the Azure platform which are used globally by the firm's employees. This IT professional will oversee ongoing operations of the cloud environment that the applications operate on, ensuring that any operating issues are resolved, that applications/migrations are planned and executed smoothly, and that operational improvements are continually identified and implemented. Looking for an experienced IT manager with experience managing cloud operations, very familiar with supporting SAAS operations, Azure, This position will start off as a contract position, but there is good opportunity to convert to an FTE position as well. Position can be fully remote, on East Coast hours. Responsibilities:

• Planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of the Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure timely escalations and issue resolutions
• Supervising staff from different departments (internal and external) and provide constructive feedback
• Safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company's cloud operations, to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success
• Monitoring and managing the servers and environments, maintaining adequate throttling controls, while overseeing escalation Management and war room initiation and closeout
• Management of cloud deployments and related processes/documentation.Qualifications:
  • Minimum ten years of Technology Operations experience within a Global Firm with hands on leadership experience within Cloud and Network Operations
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Knowledge of industry legal rules and guidelines
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (such as PowerBI and ServiceNow)
  • Strong communication, leadership, time management and relationship-building skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work
