What you will do- You will provide daily functional leadership and direction to the distribution team, both in-bound and out-bound teams, to ensure achievement of business goals and objectives through consistent coordination of quality on-time deliveries that are cost effective and provide a positive customer experience. Additional responsibilities:
  • Will be responsible for compliance to the Stryker Quality System and Stryker Financial rules regarding inventory and revenue recognition management
  • Will be responsible for the performance of the Distribution Unit, including analysis and reporting of metrics to leadership and their cross functional business partners
  • Hold team accountable to meeting performance metrics on both in-bound and out-bound teams
  • Identify and execute strategic initiatives to ensure ability to meet future growth
  • Identify areas for development for team members and help them to accomplish daily goals
  • Will be responsible for the selection, supervision, development, engagement and objective achievement for the distribution team consisting of clerical/technical and production staff
  • Work cross functionally with the customer service, sales, finance, quality, human resources, IT, and operations team to achieve Stryker mission, vision and objectives
  • Set and achieve inventory management, quality, cost and delivery service objectives
  • Support new product launches by ensuring appropriate ERP set up and management of warehouse processes associated with distribution of the product
  • Update and maintain compliance to quality system procedures regarding distribution
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and procedures (Stryker Quality System, FDA, FAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Plan and administer procedures and budgets for unit What you need-
    • 6+ years professional experience required
    • 4+ years of operations, distribution or technical experience -preferred
    • 2+ years of supervisory experience -preferred Desired qualifications/skills:
      • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
      • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
