function is the hub of our organization with comprehensive
accountability for our broad, market leading portfolios. The
Product Management team consists of both Technical Product Managers
and Commercial Product Managers. Working closely together, you will
collaborate with nearly every function within the organization.
Reporting into the Genomics Product Line Director in the
Biotechnology Business Unit, the Genomics Commercial Product
Manager, will have global accountability for driving revenue and
profit targets for their Genomic Reagent products. You, will be
responsible for positioning, promoting, and pricing the portfolio,
including new product launches, to enable the sales organization to
drive competitive share gain. You will partner with sales,
marketing, QRA, service, and finance to enable the sales team in
achievement of growth targets. Essential duties and
responsibilities: Develop annual marketing plan and pricing
strategy to achieve annual product revenue and margin growth
objectives. Lead development and execution of targeted marketing
messaging/content and sales tools Create content for fielded and
new products to support campaigns and revenue expectations. Partner
with Technical Product Management on New Product Commercialization
content and success Partner with Field Marketing and Commercial
Marketing to execute Marketing plan. Serve as a subject matter
authority for product lines and target markets/customers with
regular analysis of trends, competitors, channels, standards, etc.
Build and leverage market/customer & competitive insights to
establish product 0-2 year forecast. Understands and uses the DBS
toolkit including fundamental tools (PSP, SW, 5S), and lean tools
(TPI, VSM) to drive KPIs across all product aspects of quality,
sales and support. Partner with Quality and Operations on quality
and supply issues and own the communication to the commercial teams
and customers when necessary. Execute product obsolescence and
discontinuation to meet product strategy. Qualifications: 2 years +
experience with selling, marketing, or developing products used in
clinical diagnostics or laboratory developed tests. BA/BS or
equivalent in business, life science, marketing or other related
field. 3 years + experience in Product Management or Commercial
Marketing. Experience in a customer facing role preferred. May
accept less experience with higher degree or internal Danaher
experience. Demonstrated success launching excellent products 2
years + experience within Life Science, Diagnostics or related
scientific industry preferred. CRITICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
