SummaryThe Manager of User Experience (UX) is responsible for the
user experience and user interface of assigned CDK Global products
in North America. The Manager of UX leads a team of UX
Professionals to design best-in-class solutions, some of which
touch every one of the company's Customers, Service Advocates,
Internal technical users and end consumers.In addition to being a
leader within the Product Organization, the Manager will
collaborate with leaders in Development, Product Management, Sales
and Marketing to both learn and shape product roadmaps. The Manager
will drive research and usability with users at dealerships and
will be a leader, coach and manager to assigned UX Professionals,
ensuring quality and ef?ciency.Position Responsibilities &
Essential functions* Directs the design and evaluation of the UX
for CDK's applications* Manages the activities related to providing
usability support to product teams, develops methodologies and
procedures used in the testing, analysis and investigation of
applications/systems, as well as graphical, web, multimedia, voice
response, and conversational user interfaces* Empowers the team to
practice the faculties of UX: research, AI, interaction, visual and
usability. Manages team allocation and reviews sprint stories.*
Provides design consultation. Acts as an internal consultant
providing business and technical guidance. Works with development
teams, content developers, users, and other stakeholders to apply
CDK standards.* Communicates with technical and non-technical staff
to ensure alignment.* Facilitate meetings with development teams,
Product Managers, Users, and other stakeholders to share and reach
alignment on UX activities and artifacts.* In?uence and uphold UX
team goals.* Comfortable managing projects where solutions are not
well defined and priorities evolve.* Maintains a healthy and
diverse team culture.Quali?cations & Job Requirements* Bachelor
Degree (Masters Degree Preferred)* 10+ years of progressive
experience with UX Research and Design* 4+ years of people
management experience, with proven ability to lead, motivate, coach
and in?uence team members that are part of a matrix organization*
Cultural awareness and experience working with non-US-based
colleagues* Experience working remotely with a global team *
Familiarity of machine learning, AI, Voice Analytics, Chat Bots is
