Director of SW Security Renewals Transformation Location: San Jose, California, US Additional Location(s) North Carolina (RTP) Area of Interest Customer Experience Job Type Professional *None Job Id 1305998 What You'll Do On this critical leadership role, the Security Renewals Transformation Director defines and is responsible for the business strategy and transformation initiatives that accelerates success of Security Renewals, measured by improving on-time renewal rate (OTRR) of recurring revenue and growth of annualized recurring revenue (ARR) across all customers. You will perform as trusted business advisor with a 360o view of the business, build and maintain deep partner connections and act with bias for execution. You have a strong experience on Security SaaS as well as business strategy specially around contract renewals, partner programs, customer success and end-to-end digital engagement. You build strategic programs to accelerate renewals transformation globally and locally that will pave the road to build the best in class renewals organization. Who You'll Work With This role resides in CX Strategy, Partner and Operations organization which enables Cisco?s fastest growing teams to deliver profitable growth throughout the customer lifecycle with a series of selling motions to drive higher value and an efficient experience from Cisco solutions. You will drive deep cross-functional engagement across CX, Security, Sales, Partners, Data & Insights, Finance and Operations to prioritize key business initiatives, change management, strategy implementation and execution. You will also partner closely with the leadership team to drive, align and execute against the team's vision, strategy and strategic promises in each region and business entities, as well as with the Renewals Operations team to ensure tight alignment. You will be required to Define and drive successful execution of CX Renewals strategy for Cisco?s Security offerings in close coordination with other programs within the overall Renewals organization. Successfully build and launch strategic Security Renewal programs on time, within budget, while securing fast adoption from Renewal Specialists and Renewal Managers. Assess availability & accuracy of data elements necessary to track and improve Security recurring revenue business (ATR, new vs. renew, attrition, propensity to renew/risk, etc.). Design if/then experiments to test the impact of various factors on Security Renewals, up-sell/cross-sell possibilities and their comparative impact on renewal rates. Drive transformation in a multi-country, multi-cultural and virtual teams, influencing through persuasion, and consensus building while keeping the focus on growing renewal performance. Improve effectiveness and efficiency of Renewals processes and customer engagements through technology. Has deep business and technical knowledge our Security portfolio; possessing a detailed understanding of the nuances between products and subsequent strategic insight around how to drive successful renewals. Understands Renewals metrics and has experience driving strategy, programs and accountability to influence revenue retention. Possesses a strong renewals philosophy based on a combination of industry standard methodologies and Cisco-specific experience. Experienced in monetization models including SaaS, perpetual, Enterprise Agreements, support (various tiers), fixed and SOW-based AS offers, etc. Excellent executive communication presence and sales experience; ability and passion to rally support amidst competing priorities. Direct experience in leading and deploying strategic programs in sophisticated and complex environments. Ability to influence others yet open to different perspectives. Bachelor's degree required. Optional: MBA or equivalent from a nationally recognized institution. 10+ years? experience in consulting or business operations & strategy for sophisticated technologies sold via a recurring revenue model. Analytical skills to develop insights to tackle sophisticated business issues.
