You will find a casual office environment. - We have been involved with over 300 elementary, middle and high school or college projects in the Bay Area as well as the East Bay; Majority of projects are the niche market of schools - Projects range from large campuses of 50 acres to the relocation of single portables on one site - Design of multi-family high-rise residential sites, and single-family custom homes - Shopping center expansions, medical/health care facilities, industrial/warehouse, theme park & recreation projects - Have done work for local agencies providing surveying and engineering for street improvements and storm drain improvementsWhy join us?

• Strong compensation which includes 1.5X OT offered, which is rare in this industry, favorable benefits BONUS, PROFIT SHARING, 401k - We are small/mid-sized so this is a great opportunity to have part ownership in the company if that's what you want; We offer a tremendous opportunity to grow and develop your career in a FAMILY atmosphere with a great cultureJob DetailsREQUIREMENTS: - 3-12 years of land development experience, Civil Site Design; PE or on track to obtain it - AutoCad Civil 3D proficiency - A working knowledge of surveying and survey principles - Knowledge of ADA requirements and building code - Knowledge of stormwater best management practices - Experience coordinating with Architects on schools/institutional projects is preferredRESPONSIBILITIES: - Civil Engineering & design support for site development projects from the conceptual phase through construction documents for small and large-scale Institutional, Schools K-12, College campuses, high-density housing, commercial development, residential development, public works, and parks/recreation projects - Grading & drainage design, Utility design (storm/sanitary/water); Stormwater management plans & calculations - Project Management, client interaction, attend meetings, work with local jurisdiction staff to obtain approvals - Assimilate topographic surveys & architectural site plans into AutoCAD & Civil 3D; Interpret campus as-builts, Layout new parking lots, Locate buildings, Calculate earthworks, Hydraulic designInterested in hearing more?
