Description:
Collaborates with suppliers to assure the quality of their products, materials, components and/or operations. Monitors supplier performance and supports efforts to develop and implement changes to improve the production process. Follows up with suppliers on quality deviations and ensures that solutions are identified and implemented.This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and no experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Requires a minimum of three (3) years experience in a related industry regulated by FDA and/or ISO. 2. Requires demonstrated competence in the selection and use of Quality Engineering tools, techniques, and processes. 3. Must have exposure to and knowledge of the interpretation and application of relevant Domestic and International Regulations and Industry Standards (e.g. ISO, QSR, IVDR, MDSAP, etc.). 4. One or more of the following certifications is desired for this role: Certified Quality Engineering (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE), Certified Reliability Engineering (CRE), Certified Biomedical Auditor (BCA), or Six Sigma Black Belt. 5. Requires effective written and oral communication skills to interact across all levels of the organization. 6. Must have experience in and knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, etc.).
