This Applications Engineer position delivers technical expertise
for mixed-signal, analog, RF and mm wave RF IC device testing
solutions to a strategic customer using Advantest 93K test
equipment. You'll work on cutting edge semiconductor technology
that will be available in consumer electronics several years from
now. We have a mentorship and training program in place that will
prepare you step by step to learn and take over more
responsibilities. This is an ideal position for a software or
electrical engineer who recently graduated or has several years of
engineering experience
Responsibilities include:
Test code development on JAVA, Python or other scripting
languages
Interactions with customer to deliver test solutions and
continually improve existing solutions
Knowledge of RF / mm wave measurement theory and application to
customer's devices
Ability to understand load board schematics; having knowledge of RF
Matching and De-embedding is a plus
Reference measurements with bench equipment
Close cooperation with other applications engineers in our European
and Asian subsidiaries
Travel:
Up to 10% travel to various customer and Advantest sites
