Infineon is requiring all new U.S. employees and contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $87,800 salary per year
Maximum of $120,800 salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.


In your new role you will:

Develop test plans and perform testing and validation of analog/power devices on site
Become an Expert in the application and adherence to Mil- PRF-38534(Space Hybrid Requirements)
Become familiar in material and process capability for electronic components within hybrid microcircuit technology
Learn to address and advise Product/Design Engineers on alternate parts - address obsolescence, pricing, procurement/stock availability, etc
Become an expert in bridging the gap between process and EE -materials knowledge on the application of parts in hybrid technology
Learn and become an expert in the preparation of Source Control Drawings (SCDs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Material and Process forms for Standard Microcircuit Drawings (SMDs)
Prepare 5 year qualification plans for parts and processes per Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) requirements
Receive Cross-functional training in: Power/Analog Electronics, Process and Material Science, Radiation Effects, Radiation Effects on analog/power electronics performance, Power/Analog Electronics - devices and testing/characterization, and Radiation effects testing

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

BS Electrical Engineering or Material Science focused on semiconductors, Semiconductor Device Physics. MS Preferred
Experience: 2-5 years (MS/advance degree, Co-ops/ internships can be counted as experience)
Knowledge of analog/power electronics devices and their application in DC-DC power converters
Laboratory testing experience - with analog/power electronics circuitry
Oscilloscope, hand-soldering/bread-boarding, curve traces, power supply, electronics loads, DMMs, etc.
Software - Familiarity with some of the following
LabVIEW, Python, Matlab, Schematic capture and board layout: Cadence Or CAD/Allegro, Altium, MS Office advanced level
Board design experience a plus - Schematic & Board design to create test boards
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
