Aruba is a leading Enterprise Networking company, part of Silicon Valley Tech Powerhouse HP Enterprises. Aruba Cloud Platform is an internally developed innovative Cloud Stack which powers Aruba Cloud Applications for Wired/Wireless Network and Service Management. These applications present highly innovative user experiences to manage the RF health for Access Points and Clients in complex network deployment solutions.Requirements

  • Expected industry experience is 10+ years.
  • Minimum education at BS or MS level in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Multi-year experience in developing Cloud Applications using modern technologies in the area of system, device or network management.
  • Development experience of API's and backend modules.
  • Proven record of having contributed to multi release, generally available software.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience of using REST API (frameworks like Jersey, Spring)
  • Strong working knowledge of contemporary Persistence Technologies - RDBMs and No-SQL.
  • Working knowledge of Hazelcast, ZooKeeper, etc.
  • Familiarity with at least one flavor of Linux (preferably CentOS/RHEL) and container technologies like Docker
  • Production experience coding Cloud applications using Java/Python/Scala.
  • Solid grasp of computer science/software engineering concepts around data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, distributed computing and cloud computing paradigms
  • Ability to quickly learn, develop working experience and thought leadership in new technologies and toolsDesired
    • Working knowledge of 802.11 and experience building features for 802.11.
    • Thorough knowledge and experience of frameworks like Jersey, Spring, Vext.x, Netty, flask and transport protocols like WebSockets, gRPC etc.
    • Proven abilities to prepare necessary Design Specifications, participate in Design and Code Reviews and work with Customer Support Teams for Customer Escalations.
    • Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka
    • Day-to-day working knowledge of contemporary source code development tools and techniques (e.g. GIT, Maven, Eclipse, Node Package Manager, Gulp, Grunt)
    • Demonstrated abilities to work with QA and Remote Teams.
