Engineer partners internally and with our suppliers to proactively
realize parts with zero supplier quality issues.This is achieved by
ensuring that our designs are optimized by involving those who will
manufacture it, and validating the supplier manufacturing /
qualification processes.Role and responsibilitiesAs a Supplier
Quality Engineer at ASML San Jose, you will partner with the
purchasing team on Supplier Qualification, development and
monitoring.You will also work closely with Design Engineering and
cross-functional teams across ASML to ensure our suppliers are
enabled to meet product specifications and quality requirements as
outlined.You are a key player in ensuring success for ASML products
and quality to our customers.Each day presents new and exciting
challenges including but not limited to:Provide design input from a
supplier quality and industrialization perspectiveGuide new
products from the Design and Development teams to the Suppliers for
NPI builds as well as managing transitions to Volume
ProductionEngage with Development Engineering and our Manufacturing
Partners to ensure proper and timely concurrent engineering
including: Design for: Manufacturability, Test, Cost,
Serviceability, etc.Generate Statements of Work (SoW) to ensure
clear roles and responsibilities between ASML and the supplier, as
well as a clear manufacturing plan of recordDefine product
qualification strategy in alignment with D& E and Manufacturing
EngineeringComplete Root Cause Analyses to drive Zero Hour
Defects.Implement improvement plans for any quality-related
complaints on products/processes from the supplier or
customerEducation and experienceBS Degree or relevant years of
experience in Engineering/Science like Electrical, Mechanical,
Industrial, Materials or equivalent scientific/engineering
disciplineQuality Certifications are a plus3+ years of experience
in Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and/or Quality EngineeringNew
Product Development - A good understanding of the product
development and Industrialization process (including DFM, DFT, DFC,
etc)Change Management - An expert in BOM Structures, Navigating PDM
tools, and Reviewing ECOsProduct Cleanliness - Understand
semiconductor equipment cleanliness requirements including:
cleanliness during assembly, cleaning processes, and cleanliness
verificationQuality Tools - Proficient in the use of a wide range
of quality tools including: pFMEA, SPC / CPk, 5-Why, MSA, Gauge R&
R, Pareto, Ishikawa, 8D,Six Sigma ToolsZero Defect Understand and
have a Zero Defect mindsetElectrical SQE must have a thorough
understanding of the SMT processes, factory testing strategies
(from API thru final FT), PCBA DFM, Box Build Processes, and be
familiar with Failure Analysis methodologiesAuditing - Possess a
strong understanding of Quality Systems with experience conducting
Supplier and/or Internal auditsStrong knowledge of and experience
with MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and Outlook.Cleanroom and Semiconductor experience is a plusProject

the provided timelines.The California base annual salary/hourly
range for this role is currently $107,625.00-$179,375.00. Pay
scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with
market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an
assessment of several factors that that are unique to each
candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills,
relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the
candidate and pay relative to other team members. Our recruiters
