Job Description:

Sr. Principal Design Engineer, DC-DC Converters, Battery Charger IC, Power Management ICResponsibilities:You will work as part of the IC Design Team to develop and design state of the art DC -DC Converters, Battery Charger ICs and Power Management IC for consumer products, including cellular phones, tablet computers, laptop computers, power banks, MID, MiFi, SSD and other Li-Ion battery powered devices.Help to define new products; design and simulate integrated circuits; guide the circuit layout; evaluate silicon performance; guide test plan development for production; analyze characterization data; write the device datasheet and present your product to customers; assist support of customer applications.You will be involved in system-level and block level IC design activities, including circuit design and verification, module and system level simulation, layout planning, and partnering with Digital Team to design the digital control. You will also be responsible for post silicon validation and characterization support.Requirements:--- BSEE or MSEE with at least 5 - 10 years' relevant work experience. PhD preferred but not mandatory.--- Strong educational or industrial background in analog circuit design. Experience with bipolar and CMOS IC design.--- Ability to work independently with excellent writing and communication skills.--- Those with 10 years or more experience in relevant industry will be considered for senior positions.Please send your resume to jerald.baker@motektech.com
