Job Description:
PeerNova seeks a talented and versatile technical and documentation writer. This position will work closely with the marketing team, under the direction of the Director of Marketing. This position will also work with other stakeholders in the company including executives, sales, product managers, and engineers to create, enhance, and refine PeerNova's product documentation.

In a typical day, you'll:

• 
  Collaborate with developers, product managers, marketing team, and executives
• 
  Create and update content on PeerNova's documentation website built on top of WordPress
• 
  Write API documentation, including the development of code samples in Golang, Java, REST, Python, Node.JS, and other scripting languages
• 
  Plan, schedule, and complete complex documentation projects in a timely manner
• 
  Work closely with the product manager to understand what new features have been scheduled and be able to prioritize upcoming work
• 
  Create API reference documentation that is conceptually and procedurally clear for developers and business professionals
• 
  Create screen captures, and embed videos into the documentation website that provide thorough walk-throughs of the product
• 
  Gain a better understanding of the product through demos and conversations with the rest of the team
  
  Desired Skills:
  • 
    5+ years of experience documenting software
  • 
    Excellent writing and editing skills (writing sample required)
  • 
    Ability to create clear and easy to follow instructions for using complex software for technical and business professionals to understand and follow
  • 
    Strong computer skills and experience in web technologies such as WordPress, HTML, and CSS
  • 
    Strong organizational and prioritization skills to keep everything up-to-date
  • 
    Be able to read JSON or other programming languages (basic level) in order to classify different types of code
  • 
    Able to successfully collaborate with a variety of people and teams including marketing, product, and engineering
  • 
    Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping up with frequent changes
  • 
    Must be a self-starter
