Job Description Job Description Job Title: Shop Helper This is a entry level position for anyone who's interested in getting into machining, tube bending etc. Job Description This position has been created to support the shop's operations, particularly through the end of the year, due to an influx of projects. We are seeking assistance across various departments within the shop. Responsibilities Maintenance & Cleanliness: Sweeping, cleaning machines, and organizing tools to keep the work area safe and efficient. Operational Support: Assisting technicians or mechanics, handling raw materials, and grabbing necessary tools/equipment. Inventory & Logistics: Receiving, labeling, stocking, and organizing parts or products. Assist in various departments as needed. Work from verbal and written instructions. Essential Skills Ability to work from verbal and written instructions. Experience with a tape measure is a huge plus. Additional Skills & Qualifications No certifications required. Work Environment The work environment is industrial and manufacturing-oriented, characterized by a gritty metal shop setting. You must be comfortable getting your hands and clothes dirty while collaborating with machinists, welders, and other employees on the floor. Entry level - $20-$22, 6AM - 230PM Monday - Friday. Experience with tape measure a HUGE PLUS! Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
