Job Description The Managing Director of the Office of CTO at Sakuu will be responsible for co-leading the technology development and strategy for the company in the development of new printed battery and solid-state battery products. The Managing Director will align closely with the CTO but operate substantially independently, filling in for the CTO as required. -The successful candidate will have a strong track record of leading cutting-edge research and development projects in materials technology as a visionary leader and problem solver. This will include program leadership, pathfinding, and strategic planning. The candidate should be well respected in their field and a recognized expert. A demonstrated expertise will include substantial and recent peer reviewed publications and premier conference presentations. -The candidate will have demonstrated experience in battery technology especially lithium battery. Experience with thick film and thin film technology including materials, process, and hardware is required. Experience in both bringing battery products to production as well as development of new battery technologies is highly desired. Experience with developing manufacturing equipment is also a plus. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a deep knowledge and appreciation of hands on technology development and proof of concept demonstrations.
