About the Role Morling Financial Advisors is seeking a Wealth Tax Strategist to step into a vital client-facing position previously held by a retiring team member. What You'll Do Strategic Tax Planning - Craft proactive, client-focused tax strategies aligned with comprehensive financial plans. - Analyze scenarios involving stock options, business transitions, retirement, and more. Advisor & Client Support - Be the expert that financial advisors and clients turn to for clarity on complex financial matters. - Attend client meetings to explain strategies with confidence and clarity. Problem Solving & Research - Stay current with tax laws, market trends, and planning strategies. - Provide tailored solutions and clear advice that make an impact. Team Collaboration - Work cross-functionally with our advisors in a team environment. - Contribute to a positive, engaged team culture and mentor junior team members. What We're Looking For - 5 years of tax-focused experience (CPA preferred). - A passion for financial planning and a desire to broaden your scope. - Exceptional communication skills you translate complexity into clarity. - A collaborative, strategic mindset with strong research and analytical chops. Compensation & Benefits - Base Salary: $120,000 to $180,000 based on experience. - Annual Profit Sharing retirement contribution: 3% - 5% - Time Off: Unlimited PTO with manager approval. - Health & Dental: $3,000 annual contribution (possibly increasing to full individual coverage). - Extras: Catered lunches, monthly happy hours, quarterly events, and a team retreat. - Work-Life Balance: Hybrid schedule to support focused work and team connection.
